What Happens When Your Cat is F-A-A-A-T
Our vet has spoken. Marmalade was no longer pleasingly plump. Marmalade was obese. So, he's on a crash diet, which basically means that I'm the one he crashes into at 3 A.M. when he gets hungry. He only gets 1/4 of a cup of diet cat food in the morning, 1/4 of a cup at night, and very few snacks. It's been tough, but we've seen some results already.
Marmalade started out at 24 lbs and now weighs 19 lbs. Our vet wants him to be 12 lbs, but let's be realistic! I'm shooting for 15 lbs.
